2022 Benefits Statements will land first week of August!
Hello again, one and all – here is my shortest blog ever!!
I just want to let you know:
- Everything for the 2022 Benefits Statements and Newsletters has been sent to the printers. You should receive your packs during the first week of August. We try to get them to you before the summer holidays as we have done in the last couple of years – sorry!
- Don’t forget the value of saving in a pension. Most of you have been with Royal Mail for more than 12 months. Every £3 that you save is instantly turned into around £10 on day 1* (as a result of tax relief and what Royal Mail pay). Now THAT is good investing - more than triple your money!
- And, having turned £3 into £10 on day 1, many of you saw nearly 10% returns on your money in the last Plan year**. This was despite volatility in investment markets.
- When you receive your Benefits Statement, please take a moment to review whether the Selected Retirement Age and the Fund choice is the best for you. If you’re over 55 and you expect to keep your pot invested for several years, and maybe into retirement, look at the Flexible Retirement Lifecycle that we added fairly recently.
